Tablet not working

I was wondering if this was a problem anyone else was having if not I will reinstall. My tablet does not work so cannot do walk arounds and or remove chocks tie downs etc. All I get is a blank screen, not clickable apart from the on/off button at the bottom. I can fly from the ready to fly on the end of the runway but still no tablet information.

Hi,

We've found that problems with the tablet in MSFS are typically caused by conflicts with other add-ons in the community folder.

The first thing I'd recommend is making sure any third-party GPS add-ons you use are fully updated. If the problem persists, try temporarily removing all other add-ons from the community folder as this should indicate if one of them is involved.

For info, I also had this problem in MSFS2020: the tablet was stuck on the initial page, with the white progress bar and the bottom but nothing else, it was never loading or reacting to any clicks etc...
The origin of the issue was an outdated version of the freeware GTN addon (not sure if 750 or 550). After going to the official GTN addon website and downloading the latest, up-to-date version, I didn't face any trouble anymore.
Just for information: this bug was also affecting the BlackSquare KingAir and TBM 850: the weather radar screen would display an error message, even when batteries were OFF. Same reason, same solution. Both bugs have disappeared since I installed an up-to-date version of the GTN addon(s).

Please can you describe the issue you're having in a little more detail. A little info on your MSFS 2020 installation may be helpful too. For example, Marketplace or standalone installation of the Comanche? Is this a new installation/problem or did the tablet work before?

I flew the Comanche on Msfs2020 and the aircraft worked perfectly. Now I would like to fly on Msfs2024. I reinstalled the aircraft on msfs2024 and the tablet does not work. I bought the Comanche on the A2A simulation site.

Okay, thanks for the additional info. Have you applied the hotfix for MSFS 2024 linked at the top of this forum?

Apologies for the delayed reply. If this issue still persists, please can you just let us know how you installed the Comanche into MSFS 2024 and if you still have MSFS 2020 on your system?
