Finished Community Repaints

Post by ryanbatc »

I've seen a few uploads here's my rendition of N7621P - needs a little work since I'm now getting some real world closeups thanks to Adam on discord. I hope to gather some real world interior pics as well so make some changes. MSFS seems to really be tricky with blues or darks in general...so many lighting conditions in the sim. But I believe the real one is a bit more of a royal blue. I will do my best to get it as close as possible!

Please Enjoy!

Oh yeah. Good idea! The paint threads always were one of my favorites in the FSX days.

And what a nice paint job! Gorgeous!

Nicest Comanche repaint I've seen yet.

Just in case someone is looking for inspiration. Here is one that I think looks pretty sharp:

Hey there,

Soo... I had to make one for myself. But sharing is caring. So here is a colorscheme that I think works quite well.
The "gold" and "green" are supposed to be polished aluminium.

Here is the livery for download.

One thing I’ve noticed. The plane shows up as N6229P in the ATC and also on the A2A tablet with this paint. Any idea why?

Yeah just change the ATC ID line in the aircraft.cfg

I think I had my disabled....in fact I just added a large update to my paint and totally forgot to do that minor thing grrrr!

Also added dynamic registration with great help from Waffler. It's not super straightforward and is pretty complex to do... but I think I've got it down now!

Awesome! Looking forward to it. This could easily become my go to livery.

If anyone is willing, I would love for to get a livery of the plane that my dad flew. I have a photo, but not the skills to do this.

Thanks!

Not sure if this counts as a "paint"....since I technically stripped the paint off her. :D
