Enjoying my A2A Connie

Post by Paughco »

The A2A Misfit Squadron is flying A2A Connies from Japan down through East Asia, all the way to Australia. We're doing it in two-hour chunks every Friday, so it'll take a few weeks to get to our destination. More details are available on the flight at the Multiplayer topic on the A2A Froum. Here is a picture that I got during our first flight.

It's just so pretty I had to post it.

I appologize. Looks like you can't post images that have been posted on Discord. Too bad. The Connie sure is a beautiful airplane.

Just flew my TWA Connie on the first leg of Ian's International Race. Here's the link to his announcement of the race: viewtopic.php?t=77267.

The official rules are you have to fly an airplane that was first flown no later than 1935. I said "whisky tango foxtrot" and decided to fly my Connie on the race. I'm not used to flying more than an hour or so, or two hours when flying with the Misfit Squadron, but if you gotta do a long flight, I can't think of a better way to do it than in the Connie.
