KLN-90B GPS Not Powering up

Interesting. My GNS 430 wouldn't power up. All breakers good. To fix I had to go into the tablet -> Electrical -> Overhaul.

Hi Les,

If the avionics bus is powered, you've right clicked to push on the power knob, waited a few seconds, and the screen still doesn't come to life, another thing to check is the presence of the optional "pms50-gtn750wtt-aircraft-a2a-pa24" folder in your Community directory. If this is present, the KLN will be disabled.

To add to what Nick wrote, on legacy control scheme the power knob is pressed by left+right click at the same time.

Ich hatte das selbe Problem und nichts half.
Rechte Maustaste usw.. GPS bleibt dunkel. Es hatte sich nur eihnscahlten lassen, wenn ich meinen Flug direkt auf der Runway gestartet habe. Nach dem ich eine ganze Nacht gebraucht hatte um meine Hardware Rotary Encoder auf das KLN90B zu schalten, stellte ich dieses wiederliche Problem erst danach fest, was mich ärgerte, weil ich eine ganze Nacht für die Rotary Encoder verwendet hatte und am Ende soll das alles umsonst gewesen sein. Deswegen eine Lösung für alle, bei denen dieses Problem weiterhin besteht.

I had the same problem and nothing helped.
Right mouse button etc.. GPS stays dark. It only turned on when I started my flight directly on the runway. After spending a whole night switching my hardware rotary encoders to the KLN90B, I only discovered this nasty problem afterwards, which annoyed me because I spent a whole night on the rotary encoders and in the end it was all for nothing. So here's a solution for anyone who still has this problem.

Resolution:

C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community\falcon71-kln90b\html_ui\Pages\VCockpit\Instruments\NavSystems\GPS\KLN90B

Open the KLN90B.js with an editor like Notepad++ and change the following lines as shown in the screenshot and everything is fine.
It took me a few hours to find it, but if it works in the end
