Hi everyone,
I recently installed P3D v5.4 and the Connie. I have run the Connie update checked and I am on the latest version.
I can load the default aircraft with no issues. I've successfully loaded the Connie 2/3 times and really enjoyed the experience. However, the Connie only loads successfully maybe 5% of the time. When she does, there is an issue with the rotating beacon flashing as a red square below the aircraft.
Loading with the aircraft selected on the main screen results in a black screen and a crash. I can hear the engines running.
Loading another aircraft and then switching to the Connie results in the VC being visible, but the textures only partially loading and then a crash.

I have tried to reinstall both the sim and the aircraft but this has not helped.
Any advice would be very welcome so that I can get up and running please!
Kind regards,
Sam
L049 loading issues
Re: L049 loading issues
I have managed to get the Connie working by running P3D as administrator, but the red square texture issue remains. Some help with this would be very welcome.
Thank you!

I don't think you will get an official answer as it looks like the old sims have now finally been abandoned for the new one.
I had the long standing flashing red square box problem literally 2 days before your post.
I found a fix by searching the various threads. A 3 year old thread by someone else pointed me in the right direction. This was my recent experience with it.
