Hello, I recently picked up a copy of CFS3 of Ebay because I recently found a No CD mod from FlyawaySimulation that I never noticed before allowing me to install and play CFS3 on Windows 10. Then I remembered this Firepower product A2A still sells and I want to buy it but first I want to know exactly what it offers. I am loving being able to play the first flight simulator I ever played once again and I want to mod it as much as I can just for fun.
Is the Firepower add-on just add more aircraft and missions or does it offer anything else?
Does it matter which version of CFS3 I have? The copy I bought is version 3.1 (lucky me, I don't have to go searching for the updates if they even still exist).
I would greatly appreciate any information regarding the Firepower pack and all that it offers,
Thanks
P,S. If anyone knows of any other payware products for CFS3 please let me know, I'm interested in finding all the content I can for the game.

Re: Firepower questions
Hello
all the information is on the store page here;
https://a2asimulations.com/product/fire ... mulator-3/
For other things check out the freeware and donationware type stuff I believe might be hosted over at simouthouse. There where some old big mod packs for the sim.
cheers,
Lewis

Re: Firepower questions
Yes thank you but I've read it already, it's a little vague though. It talks about new planes and missions and mentions something about explosions and blasts (whatever that means). I just wanted to know if it offers anything else besides that.Lewis - A2A wrote: ↑17 May 2024, 04:33 Hello

Re: Firepower questions
There's plenty of info at the link Lewis posted Kalnon. Did you click on the 'features' link or watch the video? There are also some independent reviews for the product floating around on the internet, even though it was released nearly 20 years ago!

Re: Firepower questions
Ahh I'm sorry, I forgot to look at the features section, I just read the description section and I did watch the video (you can't always trust what a trailer shows you). Been a long time since I've used the A2A site to look at products.
Thanks so much for the review link, it was extremely helpful. Firepower really adds a lot to the game, much more than I realized. It seems to come with new planes, weapons including even nukes! Also comes with missions, new animations like explosions and etc., improved physics and dynamic head movement. I will definitely get it. I love playing these old simulators just as much as new ones, I like to mod them (found some free mods on the web for CFS3) and improve them as much as I can just for the fun of it.
I used to play CFS3 as a young teenager and I was obsessed with it back then, it's really fun to be able to go back and play it again after all these years.
Thanks again for your help, I appreciate it.

Re: Firepower questions
You're welcome Kalnon. Hope you enjoy getting back into CFS3. It's many years since I've played it (Firepower was developed long before I was involved with A2A) but I still sometimes have a nostalgic desire to load up those old sims too. TFX anyone?
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Firepower questions
Sorry Tug no idea on that one.
The CFS3 community use to have a little bastion over at simouthouse but not sure if that is still the case.
thanks,
Lewis - A2A
