Fellow MIsfits: Our Lockheed Connies were built in Burbank, California. We will commemorate this fact by flying our Connies to Bob Hope Airport (KBUR). We'll leave from Redding, California (KRDD), and follow Victor Airways on a scenic flight down the Sierra Nevada mountain range, to the Los Angeles area, where we'll pick our way through the smog into KBUR. This flight will be a "one-off" rather than part of a long flight; our next Friday flight series will commence on 23-Jun-2023.



We'll be flying A2A Lockheed Constellations or equivalent on this flight.

The flight will be 435 nautical miles long, and will take 1 hr 57 min at an estimated cruise speed of 235 knots. I'm thinking we can cruise at 9,500 feet or so to let our passengers view the scenery on the trip.
