late reply... It was the same with the Cub, it was promised by a certain date that was not met because of problems they ran into. It has been released after several months of silence and it is an absolutely wonderful addon in P3Dv4 and 5.

A2A don't like to talk about release dates and when Scott says the PA-60 won't happen in 2020 anymore then it is a veeery rare statement of that kind. But one thing is sure: If they don't say a project has been dropped it hasn't. They have always been honest about these things. But at the same time a "might happen" is not a definite announcement. I too would like some opener communication about future projects just like Scott does now with the Aerostar but the less you talk the less you have to handle wrong "hypectations".

I have it working (mostly) very nicely in Prepar3d v5.1 as a temporary measure until an update. I haven't flown this aircraft for a while and lost appreciation for it until now. A beautiful aircraft and flies very nicely.
The following video I flew a polished metal aircraft in first flight and a couple of days later an Olive Drab model. I must have damaged something in between as I am trailing smoke in the Olive Drab. Flying the formation is so rewarding to appreciate this aircraft. Performance with 12 A2A AI is smooth as silk. I have Enviro Shade. It is too bluish and may need some adjusting.

If I turn Accusim off, the engine nacelle and instrument panel stop shaking. If I turn Accusim on, they both shake under power. So maybe partially working?
Anyhow, I turned Enhanced Atmosphere OFF and have better graphics.

Accusim via Shift+3 or SHift+4?
If I turn Accusim ON via this menu the engines will trail smoke. If I turn it Off, the smoke will stop.
I cannot stop the engine smoke so not sure whether it is a system or the sim version. However flying from the cockpit I cannot notice it. btw the throtle levers do not move with yoke throttle movement as mentioned elsewhere but that is not an issue.
For the screenshot above I turned Accusim OFF, whereas in my video a couple of posts above, I have it OFF at start of video and OFF later where you will see the smoke from the engines. Maybe I need to read more of the systems again.
If anybody wants the 18 aircraft formation and saved flight at the start of the flight I will share. The formation is derived from a book that I have on the 8th USAAF.

I found out by accident that whilst flying with an AI formation of B-17's, If I open bomb bay doors and release the payload from my player aircraft, all the AI follow same as shown in the following video created in Prepar3d v5.1 (Unsupported). Note at 0m 15s
