White Cessna 172 panel when battery is put on.

Post by 69Yanks »

Prepar3d V5

Cessna 172 updated to the latest prior to Pre3d V5 release
Two things noticed:

1. cold and dark, the one overhead light is on. Button is off.
2. Turning on the battery causes the front panel to illuminate bright washed out white. All other texture are fine including scenery.

Commanche and Cub do not have this occurring.

Any thoughts on this? Thanks.

Hello,

are you in P3Dv5?

If so please remember the aircraft are not officially released and there will be some bugs and issues when running on the v5 platform. We are working to see what we can do to ID issues and bugs, fix what we can our end or report to the P3D team for future fixing on the platform.

thanks,

Hi,

Please add to your defect list that I get the white-out panel when I try to adjust the glareshield/pedestal dimmer. The battery switch has no effect on the panel in my installation.

Yes this is fixed internally. The issues being worked on and identified as us or Lockheed issues are revolving around actual sim stopping crashes and things atm. Any reports are always welcome though, and remember to post to Lockheed P3D bugs too. I think many forget that Lockheed have a support forum too to post P3D issues too.
