I'm currently installing your French AF T-6s, so they can accompany my Group 2/33 Mustangs. It all makes my avatar quite happy...

The Wirraway was an Australian built version of the T-6 Texan and was operated in both training and combat roles in the Pacific during World War 2.
A20-103 represented here and flown by Pilot Officer J. S. Archer actually engaged and shot down a Japanese fighter over New Guinea on 12 December 1942.
She now resides on display at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.

When I bought the Texan I didn't even know the Wirraway was it's cousin, only when I started researching did I make the connection. Thanks to A2A when I see one at the next airshow it will make it so much more interesting!Lewis - A2A wrote:Wow, that's a cracking repaint!

Wow, those photos are fantastic and really show off the plane! Yeah the Wirraway has canvas sides from what I understand so it's was important that I represented them best I could. Thanks for the post Adam and glad you're enjoying itAdam_NZ wrote:Here you go, Ben ... many thanks!!!!

Awesome repaint
Adam_NZ, could you also upload this beauty to avsim.net, flightsim.com or another FS file hoster, to keep this paint for posterity?
