My Own Jurrasic Park

Post by FAC257 »

Guys had to post this shot.......

I have a trail cam set up on a wildlife corridor in the wetland preserve next to my office. Most of the time it's goofy animal shots but this one from last evening is really cool.
That's a good sized raccoon in the gator's mouth.

Have plenty of the gators that try and take up residence on the ponds on my land in South TX... dogs have become a bit leery of that afternoon swim ...

Just a lucky shot. Most of the images that camera catches on that wildlife corridor area are raccoons. All of us in the office were surprised by the image catching the gator.
The momma-gator is one I'm real familiar with. Her cave is visible from my office window, and I imagine that's where she's dragging this little meal off too.
