This is becoming frustrating. F1 GNS does not yet support Crossfill/TCAD (according to their website) and I am unable to manipulate the RXP GNS V2 430 into the C182 for P3DV4.
This is looking like customers are being forced into a either-or- box.

Have you tried the GTN gauges ?

I was a real fan of the GNS stuff..... until I tried the GTN. Couldn't go back now. Surprised myself.

Yes, I'm well aware of the GTN options. However since GNS is still more prevalent in the real world, there are many of us who prefer to remain with the older GNS units. A few associates of mine have no interest in upgrading from GNS to GTN due to the excessive cost (I'm referring to real-world).

Ah I see. Method in madness !

I hear the new RealityXP stuff is very good.

Their GNS gauges were always best in class, and I hear their new GTN stuff is even better than the Flight1 stuff.

Well if you fly in the real skies I have nothing but envy !

Hope A2A update their stuff for you.

Cheers

"30% OFF" Thanksgiving/Black Friday sales on all the new RealityXP GPS add-ons (GNS and GTN) so they're currently $35 per licence instead of $49.95! :)

Good deals.

I got GTN 650 and 750 for full price, but they are good for both FSX and P3D.

I love the GTN. Just want every aircraft to support them.

But I hear...... the new RealityXP GTN is even better. Don't know how. But ultimately the aircraft developers will drive the sales for these. They need to be supported !

I may be able to help for this...send your email to a PM of mine - actually saw your post on avsim... maybe it will be figured out.

All I'll say is to not be surprised if one P3D update the RXP stuff stops working and they literally vanish for years, providing zero support, but keep selling their products.

I like cross-fill too but they've got a ways to go to show that they aren't just going to up and vanish, leaving their customers in the dirt again.

Hi Folks,

Yep - if I recall correctly - the stated reason for the absence was the developer had serious medical issues - when you’re a one man shop - that can present problems... That said - I’ve used and enjoyed RXP products since their inception and they’ve always been the leaders and not the followers in their niche... They were the first to produce fully functioning RW GPS units - they were first to crack the WAAS code for RNAV approaches - and - I have no issue trusting them again... I’m fully vested and own their entire GPS line product line - as I did before... Competition is good - in case anyone else has noticed - Flight 1 dropped their prices on the GTN’s from more than $120.00 for both units (which I paid) to less than $60.00 - I’m sure that wasn’t out of the goodness of their heart - it was the end of their monopoly...

There is a great deal of interaction and enthusiasm in he RXP forum and many of these people are A2A customers - I still hope A2A chooses to support those customers...

Regards,
Scott

I'll "+1" that Scott. Even if it's not practical for A2A to add native support for the new RealityXP products right now, if they can look at in the coming months I'm sure it'll be welcomed by many existing and new customers. :)

That Thanksgiving deal was too good to resist, I bought the GNS 530W. I hope A2A and RXP will work together to get these unit natively in to the A2A fleet. I read on the RXP forums that the RXP developer sent a message to the A2A team just a short while ago. Hopefully old grudges can be laid aside and fruitful cooperation will ensue.
Cheers!/Andreas

Just wanted to add also here my vote for full RXP GNS integration. As a proud owner of the complete A2A P3D v4 fleet, it would be something I would very much need to use my new GNS 530W v2 on my A2A aircraft.
