Great Freeware Companion To WoP/Shockwave Aircraft...

Post by Panther_99FS »

...if you're like me, and quite used to the outstanding quality of Shockwave/WoP aircraft, here's a great freeware companion that can make for some interesting missions (with the BMW 190 desert repaint)...

Robert Sanderson's Hurricane IID :D

The Hurricane II D sure is a good looking airplane. I can not believe it is freeware. Where can I go download it? I will try FlightSim.com and see if I can find it there.

Keep the shinny side up and the dirty side down!

Hurricane II

Post by cflord »

Alastair,

Thanks for the link to go get the Hurricane II. I downloaded the file and now the Hurricane II sits in the hanger with the rest of my collection of WWII airplanes. This sure is a good looking bird! Thanks again for your help!

Hi Cliff,

Much though I love the Spitfire, if anything I think that the Hurricane has more character and I'm sure I don't need to tell you that it was actually the plane that probably won the Battle of Britain. Somehow its always been the Spitfire's poor relation !

I'm just sorry that there are so few still flying, certainly compared to the Spitfire.
