My first ever COTS VIP!

Post by G-BJPS »

Hi folks, did a shorter flight today, Gander down to Bangor International, Maine.

As i was loading up Betty comes in and can hardly contain her self! "Sir.......GRACE...KELLY, just got on the plane!"
Then one of the crew (sounded like A2A Captain Jake) said "Oh boy, a VIP flight"
This was the first time I've ever had a VIP on board, nice touch that they say the name of them too, that was a nice surprise!

She happens to have been in some of my favorite old movies too :)

En route...

Safely arrived in Bangor, no problems en route, and got a round of applause! Isn't it supposed to say there is a VIP on board in the shift 2 menu? If so it wasnt there, maybe i misread a post somewhere.

Safe adventures folks! You never know who might get on :D

Happened to me during yesterday's flight: my VIP was Betty Davis (which one, I'll never know) Haven't seen her though. Wonder how many important persons we will have on board during future flights?

Paul Newman joined my crew and passengers on a flight from Williams Gateway KIWA to Albuquerque KABQ and I got a round of applause on landing - but then again that plane is terribly easy to land. I agree, nice touch on the VIP naming! I felt like I was in the late fifties! This plane is such a treat to fly anyway without the VIP.

Cheers all, yup COTS sure is full of surprises!

Looking at that second picture of Grace above, I should have edited it, and put a '2' in place of the wings on the American Airlines logo
