Yep, and that photo comes from Williams Army Air Field operations (it was originally published in the Williams Army Air Field student pilot's yearbook for 1943). However, if you do a Google search for "Luke Field AT-6", that photo will pop up.

In a sense, one could consider it both a Luke Field and a Williams Field Texan... As I mentioned in my post in the other thread, the aircraft likely was originally under Luke Army Air Field control as an aerial gunnery trainer, marked with a blue cowl, and coded X-614 (X for Phoenix, AZ where Luke Field was/is located). When Williams Army Air Field took over Ajo Army Air Field in 1943, a sub-post where the aerial gunnery training took place, the aircraft was likely then re-assigned at this time to Williams Field and had its buzz number changed to Y-519 (Y for Higley, AZ, where Williams Field was/is located). The aircraft was damaged in a landing accident/ground loop at Ajo Field in February 1944.

Looking Bloody Great Tom , this is parked up at Wigram, funny many people complained about the noise of the Harvard's as flew around and across the city, then there were people like us were it was music to our ears .... in the background in this photo you can see the replacement aircraft, an early CT-4 (photo circa 1977/78) , they were worst, they had this snarl like a hive of bees I did prefer the AT-6, ironic today those Snarly CT-4's final variant being the 'E' ( the final paint/livery was Black and Yellow so the hive of bees was not that far from reality) have now been replaced with the new Raytheon/Beechcraft T-6 Texan II, and with that gone the famed 'RNZAF Red Checkers' aerobatic team.
