And now for the interior. Here's a couple shots of it with a quick color blocking, to sort whats where, and using Bomber_12th's gages. I will probably use his other set in the end. There're are a couple of things to fix, like the outside window sill and the rear deck behind the back seat. Then off to the outside looking in _c file.

Tailspin45, did you want anything done to the pilots?

Wow! Now I'll have get my flight suit cleaned. I think I may have stained the front! That's gorgeous.

Not sure what you can do with the pilots, so not sure what to suggest.

If you can give the guy a yellow T-shirt that would be cool. Kate once whipped off her tank top and let it flutter in the breeze, but we probably shouldn't go there.

Can you add some paint wear to the foot trays and pedals? The chips in the paint on the trim wheels and flap handle are perfect. The airframe tubes below the throttles where the seats belts knock it off could use the same treatment.

Here's some interiors of Pete Hunts T6, the first one we photographed when wee got to Ramona. Wrong color, but gives some ideas of how it wears.

In fact, anything you can do to make the interior look used would help match the exterior. Smudge the paint near switches, etc. Don't know this aircraft, but

Having said all that, you've already made a masterpiece. I'm thrilled with it just the way it is, so don't do any more painting unless it's for you!

There's not a lot I can do, mainly change colors.

Lol, nice. I'll see about that.
If you can see his shirt, I'll make it yellow.

There's a lot of stuff in this interior and I'm not exactly trying to find where everything goes. Especially the non-obvious stuff. I'll attempt a general pass and see what that gets us.

I'm happy you're still enjoying the paint.

Something weird going on with Dropbox. Files aren't uploading. But thanks for the heads up.

Check again in a few hours.

UPDATE: They're all uploaded now. If they don't load, refresh the page. Seems Dropbox is sometimes slower than the browser

N7055K (WIP)

Interior fun, I was finally able to string together some time and get after the interior details.

Here's an initial wear attempt to gauge my strategy for the rest. So far just the balls, trim wheel fuel selector housing and the front corner of the panel.

Pilot fun, per request  , plus a testing the eye shield.

What do you guys think?

Not sure how you did the chips, but they look just right. Awesome, indeed!

Nice again, subtly is the key with good weathering, just do the parts that might wear, only do the parts of the part that might wear etc etc.

Looking great 8)

Thanks guys! It's slow going. I've been pretty slammed lately.

Sage advice Lewis. It's definitely easy to go overboard. Believe it or not, it's kind of fun and meditative.
I've been trying to think about how the pilots would use and grab the different objects and how often. Problem is, I'm a noob and have no idea what a realistic use would be. I continue to go back and tone down the wear.

This image is based on the one Tailspin45 shared in a previous post. What do you guys think? Too much, on point, any other comments?
