51-14915 was a T-6G of course and was delivered to the USAF on the 11 August 1952 and saw service at GoodFellow AFB, Texas before being despatched to France in December 1953. The paint scheme seems familiar, is this the one in the Museum at Le Bourget?

Martin
Thanks Martin, me as well!
Oh I would love to get more history around the 14915 as it has rocket mounts... If it has a record of being in combat as example. I never found the dog emblem anywhere on the net so I had to create it from a very bad line art pic I found... If anyone finds more info about that I would be glad for letting me know.
Yes that's the one displayed at the museum.
;-)
It seems that the aeroplane in question displayed is not 14915, but is really 51-15422 which served in Colomb-Bechar and then Cognac purely as a trainer and just wears the scheme of 14915, which did see combat in Algeria.

At the request of RaFi, we have repainted the Air National Guard bird for the State of Iowa ANG. RaFi supplied several on-line photos for me to work from and this is as close as I can get. There are several subtle differences than other repaints. She has an 'N' number as well (N515SA) so she is a civilian bird now.

Daniel

Great job!

I will add it to my hangar when it becomes available.

Many may fly and some are rewarded
handsomely, but the wings of gold of a
United States Naval Aviator mean more
than flying. It is dearly bought, requires
sacrifice to keep and represents a way of life.

Off topic.
Need the cfg file right?

How to make it visible? Remember it was some admin stuff?

I was responsible for the older paint scheme of N515SA, unfortunately real life interrupted my plans for awhile.

However, here she is :

Just a few fine adjustments, then it will be released.
