Another one from me - based on a real one this time! N455WA, an SNJ operated by Warbird Adventures (incredible-adventures.com) in Kissimmee, FL. Note that the real-world airplane has the racing canopy, spinner, or antenna, so that's what you see in the picture below. I have, however, painted this to accommodate having the standard canopy and spinner, if that's your preference.

Re: Finished Repaints
Beautiful job N324JK! I've always liked a good looking yellow scheme. I remember when I was a kid that this was one of the color schemes or very similar of some of the plastic model kits.
I'm heading to download. Thank You.

Re: Finished Repaints
Here are the results of my Ted White paint. I've done a painted and a bare metal version, just to see which I prefer.
Painted version
Metallic version
It's not at AVSIM yet, in case I need to change anything, but you can get them from here. Download.
UPDATE: 10th April 2016
Fixed some glitches and oversights.

Thanks mate. Yeah, I like chequers too. They come with the usual mapping difficulties, just to keep us on our toes.EightyFiftyFive wrote:Very nice blade! I've always been a fan of Checkered-board *anything*

Do you plan on doing the other two in the fleet?N324JK wrote:Another one from me - based on a real one this time! Great job BTW.

Many may fly and some are rewarded
handsomely, but the wings of gold of a
United States Naval Aviator mean more
than flying. It is dearly bought, requires
sacrifice to keep and represents a way of life.

Re: Finished Repaints
Thanks! I had no specific plans to do them, but now that I have a "template" of sorts, I just mightrsgunner wrote:Do you plan on doing the other two in the fleet?N324JK wrote:Another one from me - based on a real one this time! Re: Finished Repaints
I had done the entire set for the AS version. Had a HD crash and lost all of my templates. Losing everything kind of takes the wind out of your sales to get involved again. I was hoping that someone would do the series.

Well then, as I've got one in the bag, I'd be honored to take on the other two!rsgunner wrote:I had done the entire set for the AS version. Had a HD crash and lost all of my templates. Any chance you could make a version of this marked TA-418? A company called North American Top Gun used an aircraft with the same markings but as TA-418. Thanks.

But this is an weathered version. As I can imagine, the company's one is brand new looking...
