Re: Cessna 172 Repaint
I like it! It reminds me of the default paint scheme on the C172 from Microsoft Flight Simulator '98.

Re: Cessna 172 Repaint
Thank you. I've been a sim pilot off and on since Flight Simulator II was available for my Tandy Color Computer 3 long long ago (grade school for me!). But I took a discovery flight in this particular bird this summer/fall... and I was hooked! I now have the privilege of taking instruction in this plane as I progress towards my PPL.
The A2A 172 is about as good as you can get (IMHO) without a multi axis simulator and a complete, to scale, cockpit. When I can't fly (which is far too often this time of year between the weather and short days), I can't get enough time on the A2A 172.
The repaint was done, rather hastily, using what photos I had available, and someday I hope to take new high res photos specifically for the purpose of doing a higher quality version of this plane. But since my laptop is rather lacking in terms of graphical performance, this version looks rather nice on my limited system.
Flight Simulator sure has come a long ways since the early versions I toyed around with, and I am grateful for companies such as A2A keeping FSX alive and as current as possible where Microsoft has abandoned us.

Cracking Job
Remember to save WITHOUT mipmaps to avoid the blurries on your textures.

Re: Cessna 172 Repaint
Thank you. Good to know about the mipmaps option! I should've read all of the well organized, sticky, repaint info before diving into this. But it was very much a "try and see" type venture
