I wish I knew. I Google to the best of my ability but came up with nothing. But that's what is says on the plane. :?
Not sure if there's any relation, but I came across this:

Carrier Air Wing Six: Air Group Six (1943-1945) | Wikipedia

Also, Airliners.net has Cessna G-BDIG listed under the airline "Air Group 6."

Perhaps it's a small private air service of some kind, simply named in honor of the aforementioned Air Wing? Not really sure why a presumably English owner would be paying tribute to an American unit, though :P

Yes. I tried Google as well I was thinking perhaps it is a flying club, again, I don't know why they would name it after the Enterprise's old air group though.
Just curious. I love this paint scheme.

Ron Attwood wrote:I hear you mate. The trouble with photos is that it all depends on the light. I've darkened the dark blue a bit, the light blue, once again, the light. It's all getting a bit anal eh? :D
...but most importantly is the fact that most everyone's computer is going to display things differently too like Hues, Tones and so on and all based on if they use other programs too like the ENB Mod which makes things look better but then everything will look different from what the painter might be seeing. So if Ron painted the blue and the number was lets say R123 B20 G130 then those who have these updates might see that color lighter or darker so it's pretty hard to get everything to look the same for everyone.
This is why I use default color settings without any fancy stuff. If I need better colors then I'll adjust my video card Vibrancy and RGB's but then again almost no two computers are going to see the colors the same and if they do then you have different monitor settings which then again change it a bit too. This is just part of repainting.

Ron and Mauricio - great repaints! Thank-you chaps. :) I'm contemplating having a go at the Skylane, but having way too much fun in the sim for the Photoshop stuff at present though...

Cheers again!
Nick

P.S. Mauricio - if you fancy doing a UK version of C-GGWF, there's always G-SHAR!
