Love the old style paint schemes. I'm looking forward to this one

Agreed. The newer style paints look like my kids walked down the side of the plane dragging a paint brush.

How do u guis make a strip/ shape so identical and perfect like that? On Photoshop?
Re: Finished Paints and Paintkit
IIRC, there were some stunning repaints applied to the C172 which were actually taken from C182's. At the time none of us imagined a C182 in our hangars, but maybe some of those authors might think about converting those beautiful paints for use on our new toy?
And I'd love to see that Ohio State Police paint, that is one mean looking Skylane. As I'm intending to do a lot of bush flying up north an Alaska State Troopers paint would be fabulous as well!

Speaking of authors, where is Eighty Fifty Five? He's painted everything else, can't imagine him taking a pass on the Skylane...

I will look and see what I can find in the AST 182 planes...that said, a lot of them are privately marked depending on where they are stationed...push come to shove I will call a friend who still resides there and see if he can rustle something up. Be a little bit though as I have two going now.

Me, I make heavy use of the Pen tool in Photoshop. In fact, I'd say probably 99% of a paint can be done with the Pen tool alone.jrmaverickjr wrote:How do u guis make a strip/ shape so identical and perfect like that? On Photoshop?
