S'pose I'd better pop this one on here, too... It's not from saafend, it's not actually from anywhere, but I'm not typing all that out again, so I'll just point you at the other thread  http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 07&t=36503

Wow - what a beauty! Great attention to detail as well! Did you add a bit of shine to it?

Adam.

Hi Adam! Yeah it's shined up a bit. Started off with some prop wash and then added some elbow grease.

The next Greek one (Don't be fooled by the UK registration, it belongs to Dekeleia Aeroclub in Tatoi)

Hi Dimus,

Thanks for sharing your amazing work! I was wondering if it might be possible to get your blue tinted windows as a separate download? I only saw available the version with the tint "stripe" atop the windshield.

Thanks!

Best,

Joel

Hi Joel,

Thank you for the kind words! Much appreciated!

I replied your PM but since it is also posted here I will repeat for anyone wishing to use the tint on other repaints.

If you have either SX-AEW or G-IMAD you already have the necessary files for the glass. Just copy the files c172_glass.dds and c172_c6.dds from the "texture.G-IMAD" or "texture.SX-AEW" into the "texture.xxx" folder of any repaint you wish and it will have the blue tint, both on the outside and the inside. The textures used in SX-AWD will have only a stripe of tint on the top of the windshield.

The next one to be released in a few days will have a dark yellow/brown tint so you'll have a choice. I see above that ralf also tinted his "Gulf" repaint so you have that too. I think Gunnar also had made a tinted one early on and helped me find the correct texture to edit.

10 Pages already, beautiful stuff guys. I've recently moved house and due to a chicken up (c up) i'm offline until potentially 9th October, relying on mobile hotspots for connectivity. Been able to download a few repaints to enjoy in offline mode in the meantime 8)
