A2A Simulations Update 22/03/09

Post by Lewis - A2A »

F4u Corsair is coming for FSX
We will be publishing the Milviz F4u Corsair.
We had been planning to create this Navy aircraft for a while now but just as it reached the top of the list, it seemed everyone else was developing one and so it fell back down the list. We look forward to finally having the Navy’s ultimate bird in our hanger.

Nice! I can't wait to fly this plane. I've been flying a freeware version of the Corsair but after I bought the Razorback, its hard to fly anything else. This is going to be fantastic!!

Cool, you've fixed that ugly propeller on Milviz's Corsair :D

Hopefully in the next update we will see some VC screenshots of the Cub :)

It's great to see that A2A has so many superb products in the pipeline!

A Corsair cool.My dad's friend and coworker Ray Swalley Piloted one of those in the war (WW2).
He even shot down a few Jap planes.
I think that he is still around too.

Also are you going to have Sturmjager (Rammjager) variants of the FW-190 like these

I'm just wondering.Anyway I still need to get your accu-simmed P-47 Razorback.

I would hope it's Accu-simmed. That is pretty much the staple of A2A. I am glad to see an F4U being modeled for FSX. That is the aircraft my flight sim career started on when I got it for free with FS2000. Definately looks a million times better than the MS model did, and I look forward to adding her to the collection on the day she hits the store.

Outstanding!! I eagerly await this release. My favorite bomber of WWII is the B-17, which I have and fly regularly. You are now producing my favorite single engine plane of WWII. I guess I'll have to dig out my joystick and throttle again.

Thanks,

My understanding is that the Corsair is only being published by A2A for the time being as it is an external product. Accu-Sim would require a fairly significant redesign of the model and flight dynamics, so if it is done, my guess is it'll be after their other pending in-house projects are completed.
