As the title suggests, I would really appreciate it if one of you intrepid repainters would be able to recreate one of my personal favorite B-17s (although I might be slightly biased, since I work on it), Texas Raiders. I've attached as many good images as I could find, and thank you in advance.

Here's a photo of the CAF decal on the fuselage.

Re: Repaint Request: B-17G Texas Raiders
Also, not strictly relevant, but here's a couple of photos of TR meeting up with a few other B-17G's
Closest one is ours (CAF Gulf Coast Wing) obviously, second is CAF Arizona Airbase's Sentimental Journey, third is the Lone Star Flight Museum's Thunderbird (based in Galveston, TX for the time being), and I'm not sure about the other ones. These photos represent 80% of the B-17G's flying in the United States and 88% of the ones still in G configuration (Memphis Belle from the movie was a G but is in F configuration).

I was there for the Thunder over Michigan airshow with 8 B-17's and #7 on your list is the movie version of Memphis Belle. The formation fly-over of the 17's was awesome!!!sterlingp wrote:Update to my previous post, the full list is as follows (in order of closest to furthest)

Yup, the B-17 will always be my favorite aircraft, so it was a dream come true when I got the chance to join the Gulf Coast Wing. My great-uncle (my dad's mom's brother) flew B-17's out of North Africa and then Italy during the war and I always loved visiting him in Kentucky on my road trips with my dad from Texas to Vermont. I grew so close to him that I started calling him Uncle Bill.

Texas Raiders is/was one of the many many repaints done by nath2889. I have a copy of it. I'll do some looking see if I can find an online link. Otherwise, you can PM me, I'll send you a copy.
Re: Repaint Request: B-17G Texas Raiders
I just googled, and it appears that Nathan's website is offline, so I'll send you a PM when I get home.
Re: Repaint Request: B-17G Texas Raiders
PM'ing doesn't appear to be working for me, could you PM it to me?

PM sent.
Also. Have a look at the one on my site. See if it's any good. Not many clear pictures so, some of the finer detail could be in the wrong place. Apologies for that.
Steve.
