Shared cockpit not working anymore

In FSX with the P-51D military, the shared cockpit is not working anymore. It has been working before but now this is not the case anymore.

The player that wants to sit into the cockpit of a colleague gets an error message saying that 'the player does not share the cockpit anymore' with an Ok button. If the Ok button is clicked, the player that wanted to enter the cockpit is back in the briefing room. The error message apears some seconds after clicking 'Enter session' in the briefing room (after having selected with what colleague the cockpit should be shared) but before the cockpit has actually been entered.

The problem is not just between two specific players but can be reproduced by any player with any other player. All players run FSX Gold Edition on Windows 10 updated to current state. Also all P-51Ds involved are updated to Accu-Sim Update 11/05/2020. The player that awaits a colleague to enter its cockpit has his mustang properly setup and is ready to to fly (session not paused). The problem must be linked somehow to the P-51D Mustang Military since sharing the cockpit using other planes works as expected.

Cockpit sharing using the P-51D Mustang has been working fine some time ago. Unfortunately we have not used P-51D cockpit sharing for a while so I cannot say since when the problem exists.

Any help is appreciated

Hello Geronimo,

the cockpit share has never worked correctly or regularly with the higher fidelity third party simulations including our Accu-sim line of aircraft. The cockpit shared feature of FSX is aimed solely at the relaxed realism default type aircraft on the platform.

thanks,
Lewis

Hi Lewis

Thanks a lot for your answer. I agree that the shared cockpit of the P-51D Militäry did not fully work. We only used it in the way that an instructor was watching a colleagues flying and commented on it. That unfortunately is not possible anymore.

Do you have any idea or information where the problem could be and how it could be fixed?
