P 51 weirdly bugged out
So I've not been flying much in p3d and I came back to find my P 51s gunsight reticle texture broken as hell when I turn it on and my cockpit lights just illuminate the entire cockpit with whatever colour they normally would be instead of only being in certain places. I am using p3d v5 hf2

Hello,
I just tested and all is working fine. How did you update your P3D?
For the lights, are you using the lamps or the flood light?
For the Gun sight is it fixed or in Gyro mode?
thanks,
Lewis - A2A

Re: P 51 weirdly bugged out
I updated p3d by uninstalling the client and installing the new one and I changed the gunsight between the different gyro modes and tried turning the gyro on and off again. I was using the lamps not the flood light.Lewis - A2A wrote: ↑06 Jul 2020, 06:14 Hello,

Hello,
You'll want to update content and maybe the scenery components too.
For the texture issue, can you please post a picture, if its the P3D bug of textures being drawn too big youll need to delete your P3D cfg files and start over as HF2 changed stuff but wont be re-doing those unless its a clean install.
thanks,
Lewis

Here you go I'll install the content and scenery now then and I'll let it rebuild the cfg and I'll let you know what the result is.

Lovely jubbly,
just so you are aware the issue you encountered was that P3D ran out of memory and so defaulted your textures to low res. It must have done this prior to HF2 and the sim was never able to reset this cfg setting back. Lockheed fixed this with HF2 hence we knowing this will have happened prior to HF2.

So I assumed all was fine when the gunsight worked but I tried the night lighting today and I don't remember if it should be like this.
I am fairly certain these two are fine tho

Re: P 51 weirdly bugged out
Look like the canopy might be steamed up in that last picture HE11DUDE04. Is that the issue you're referring to? The dynamic lighting in P3Dv5 has had a significant change between HF1 and HF2 which may have exaggerated the effect of lighting this texture and some of the planes we released for P3Dv5 may need a few minor changes to their lighting effects to tone down the brightness of them a bit.
Thanks,
Nick

Yeah the canopy was steamed up lol I was referring to the first pic I rarely use the night lights anyway but at least we now know why it's doing it XD.

Okay thanks. Not too sure what issue you're referring to in that first pic?

The light should be on the manifold pressure and rpm gauges and not everywhere at least it used to be.
