Hello all!
I´m able to program the CHANs in the KFS 586A ADF-Radio of the P-51 civil.
But I´m unable to transfer the programmed/stored frequencies to become the active one.
Does anybody know, if this is (not?) coded and if it is coded, how can I manage it?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Best wishes Rainer

Re: ADF Radio P-51 civil
Hmm, somebody called?
We've dealt with similar issue in the past and it was FSUIPC that caused radios to stop functioning properly. I thought we made a workaround for that, but it may be that something's still not quite right with ADF. I'll need to investigate.

<Hmmm, somebody called?>... nice introduction. Well some1 is not no one!
Thank you for your reply, and may be for some investigation.
It´s just a small thing and NOT at all a show stopper... but it woud be nice if it could be done.
Just another observation:
It´s impossible to put in a standby-frequency and change it to active.
Cause after 2 or 3 seconds the changed numbers - or better the changed number, cause there is no time to change
the second or even the third number - the standby entry is flipping back to the active frequency. So that both active and standby
are showing the exact same frequency that was shown at the beginning.
My workaround:
I change ONE number at a time in the standby window to the desired, than QUICK press the tranfer button before the change is flipping back to the former active number
then I change the second number, QUICK press tranfer button again, before...
then I change the third number, QUICK press tranfer button again, before...
Voila, the new, desired frequency is shown in both the active and the standby window
Best wishes Rainer

Re: ADF Radio P-51 civil
Hey Rainer,
There's definitely something wrong there. Mine works exactly as advertised in the Civ Mustang manual and the only time I've ever seen the same frequency in both windows is if I've entered them that way or was just coming out of Active Entry mode. I'm using FSX:SE and not FSUIPC.

Hallo Rob,
thanks for your info.
I will disable FSUIPC (for rudder trim speed change) and look what than happens.
Cheers Rainer
