VIDEO: Flying the P-51D (Mil) through the Alps out of Innsbruck

Arguably the finest fighter aircraft of World War II.

Thanks for posting the tour Rob! It was the perfect complement to my morning coffee...and it made me want to go fly my Mustang  8)
Enjoy your stint with Bomber Command...you'll be back...

Cheers Rob! I do love the Mustang!
Yes am more used to being a ‘little friend’ but will be fun to get to grips with the B-17 although my heart is always with the Spit/T6/Mustang lol

Wonderful vid Rob and certainly proof that P3Dv5 can look absolutely great with the right combination of add-ons, in spite of the flashy new kid on the block! The thumbnail image for the vid could easily be mistaken for a photograph. :)

Do you have some sort of depth of field effect in operation there, or is it just the misty weather playing tricks on my eyes?

Cheers and Happy New Year!

Many thanks Nick! You are right, P3Dv5 can still look amazing though it had it’s frustrating quirks eg the mesh popping lol
No depth of field effect going on (that I am aware of!). I use chaseplane for ‘cameras’ but I don’t think they add that. Could be the weather interacting with the Enhanced Atmospherics.
Happy New Year to you sir and thanks for all your help!

Not sure, I didn’t think you needed to be registered and I am sure the other day it would go through without it but tapping on those links I can see that it is asking you to register.
