"Miss Jane" my personal ride

Post by mgr »

Hiya,

My personal Mustang at the moment the PH-MST, paint based on the 44-14082, from 55th Fighter Group, 343rd Fighter Squadron.

All artwork is based on WWII photo's, especially the stallion on the tail. Strangely enough, all restored warbirds at the moment have not so accurate stallions on there tails.

The partly D-day stripes in combination with the yellow tail is a personal interpretation. This combination could have been possible in a very short time frame when the D-day stripes were removed completely and the coloured tails were introduced.
