FSX Acceleration, Windows 7 64 bit. I think the last thing I did was run the "repair" on FSX Accel. I just noticed the tire squeal stopped working and that the menu Accu-Feel had dropped off the Add-ons drop down. All other add-ons remained... GSX, FSUIPC, etc.

Hello,

have you tried a reinstall of Accu-feel?

A repair of FSX could always knock things out so a reinstall could easily be required of Accu-feel.

Went to: Computer > C Drive OS > Program (86) > Microsoft Games > Microsoft Flight Simulator > A2A > Feel > Sounds.Pk. When trying to open, I get a "File Type Helper" window. Clicked on install with "Open with software installed" and it does not install. It seems like something corrupted the installer.

Hello,

I am not following. Why are you trying to open sounds.pk file? Thats one of the locked files thats part of the software.

To reinstall you need to uninstall through windows, restart your system and then use the software installer you downloaded from the store to reinstall the software.

If you need any assistance please let us know.

thanks,

It's working again. Had to pay a fee to reload the installer since I have had the add-on for a long time, but I have both the Accu-Feel and the AL&S back as well. Thanks for the guidance.

Good to hear, remember if you buy direct from us you never have to pay any fee for downloads after purchase or simply make sure you download and backup your software that way you only ever have to download once anyway.
