Re: ACCU FEEL causing FSX to crash
Hey guys,
this is the direct X component crashing and isn't an A2A program per say. Its a Microsoft component for your computer that is required for the accu-feel program to run, if the installer version is failing please update your direct X9 using the Microsoft website;

thanks,

Re: ACCU FEEL causing FSX to crash
Thanks Lewis..
But I have read and tried to apply everything that the forums here suggest..
Just tried to run the DirecX 9.26 again, and am told I have it ,or another more current version of DirecX is installed.. I have 11 on my comp, and yesterday I installed 9.1 (that installed) just to make sure..But that one in the link 9.29 wont install..
So... Sorta at a loss here.. darn..And I was so excited to crank up the bumps and knocks in flight, and hear my tires protest as I pushed them to their limits.. lol
Any more suggestions besides a OS reinstall and a FSX reinstall? Just did that two weeks ago...

Re: ACCU FEEL causing FSX to crash
As I stated in my original post I have tried that. Crash don't bother with the os/fsx reinstall I tried that and it does not help.
Lewis this is the second A2A product I have purchased and the second that I have had issues with. I can see this one being fixed the same way... by being deleted. There will NOT be a third purchase from A2A you have stolen enough of my money.

Re: ACCU FEEL causing FSX to crash
CBear..
i got mine to work...All i did was..
Uninstall, and reinstall Accu_Feel..
During the reinstall i too get the DX crash...And closed it out..
from there I allowed the Accu_feel installer to continue ..And the second load bar ran back and reloaded..
I fired up FSX and all was well... I was sure that I had done that before to no sucess..But maybe not..
All i really know is my DX is up to date, and on uninstalling from the installer Accu-feel, Launching FSX again NEVER prompted me to allow the Modules...So..It seems the uninstaller does NOT remove that ...
So..maybe this will help you some...maybe I am just lucky here..but its going now and I verified its working...
Now..I need to find time to actually fly...lol

Re: ACCU FEEL causing FSX to crash
CBear which products have you purchased and had issues with, how far troubleshooting did we go, was it an error with our product for a system error?
Direct X installation is not part of the product from us and as noted is part of your computer system. If there are errors here please refer to microsoft or have a google as to errors when installing direct X9.
However it could also be that this isn't required for your system in which case just close the direct X component and carry on with the accu-feel install.
thanks,
Lewis - A2A

Need your help.
My Accu Feel keeps crashing, despite after the latest update. The Accu Feel works the first time after installation, subsequently, it keeps crashing. Any suggestions what I should do next?

Re: ACCU FEEL causing FSX to crash
Hello,
can you let me know how you are loading in after that first install? Have you set a complex addon to be the default flight?
thanks,

I didn't change settings for the default flight, so it is default to FSX stock planes.Lewis - A2A wrote: ↑30 Mar 2021, 14:16 Hello,

This is how I run FSX.Lewis - A2A wrote: ↑31 Mar 2021, 04:36 Hello,

Step 1: Boot up the computer
Step 2: Run FSX (Accu Feel crash at this point while loading the FSX). I tried both methods, Run As Administrator and non Administrator, both methods crash.
Now even I restart the computer, FSX will crash every time when it loads Accu Feel.

Re: ACCU FEEL causing FSX to crash
Hey Bill,
Sorry I completely missed your reply I am sorry about that. Are you running the sim as an admin, I am just trying to work out what might make the sim run first time ok but then prevent future sessions from running. Its not an error ive every come across from the sim before. You can run as admin via right clicking the FSX short cut and selecting to run as admin.
thanks,
Lewis - A2A
