I'm attempting to write a LUA scirpt for FSUIPC that has as one of it's functions the setting of the fuel tanks selector. The Lvar ""L:Eng1_FuelSelector" accurately reflects the current position of the selector. Reading this Lvar will return;
-- L:Eng1_FuelSelector = 0.000000 None Selected
-- L:Eng1_FuelSelector = 1.000000 Reserve Tank Selected
-- L:Eng1_FuelSelector= 2.000000 Wing Tanks Selected
-- L:Eng1_FuelSelector = 3.000000 Fuselage Selected
-- L:Eng1_FuelSelector = 4.000000 External Selected
However, a write to this Lvar with "ipc.writeLvar("L:Eng1_FuelSelector" , 3)" will not change the fuel tanks selector position.
Does anyone know what Lvar must be written to change the fuel tank selector?

Try L:FSelP40State=SET
I think I have used that to move the fuel tank selectors.

Re: P-40 Lvars
Thanks Bill, that did the trick. The call to "ipc.writeLvar("L:FSelP40State" , 3)" will set the fuel selector on the P-40C to the fuselage tank.
