No Autostart

I've tried to use the auto-start and it will light off for about 15 seconds then quit. I have the auto-mixture in P3D unchecked.
I've tried to emulate a start-up from a utube I looked at. CTRL+ E will cause the cockpit to shake and rattle and then maybe the prop
will spin and almost seem like it will light off then nothing when I letgo of the CTRL + E keys.

I installed the FSX version directly into my P3D V3.4 sim. Previously, I had manually installed the P40 to P3d then later did a fresh reinstall
directly to P3D V3.4 - Don't know what I am doing wrong - I've primed it, pushed down on the inverter switch then after a few seconds
flipped it full up and the cockpit will shake rattle and roll.

Please advise - I tried to load P3D with default aircraft (Running) then switch over to the P40 - it would run awhile then eventually quit.
