B377 Input Configurator

Post by jimmyfingers »

THis topis was posted a couple of years ago but I didn't see any answers:
https://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewto ... 80&t=52650

I nuked my FSX Accel installation and reinstalled the sim and my A2A hangar (which is awesome, BTW) but I can't get the B377 Input Config to work. All the other airplanes (L049, B-17, T-6, PA28 and PA32) seem to work fine.

I get an "Unhandled exception" message: 'Cannot create a file when that file already exists." Wondering if 1) some file from the old installation is lurking about or 2) there is something in the JIT debugging that needs to be set.

Hello,

Yes, as flapman mentions, the first step would be to make sure you've installed the latest Accu-Sim update for FSX products from this pinned post.

Thanks,
Nick

Found it...there was a left over folder from the old install. Yes, I ran the update, which was painless and excellent. Forgot about "Run as Administrator". The only odd thing is that I had to move the B377 Tools folder out of the B377 main folder for the app to run. If the folder is in the A2A folder in FSX, the app generates the exception.
Thanks for the help, y'all. Absolutely awesome fleet!
