Need a little help (can't get meals/no meals button)

Hi,

I've been searching and reading on the forums, but I'm still not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

I'm running FSX:SE (4/23 update) and relevant installs I've done are:

1. Accufeel 2 (turned off for b377)
2. Base B377
3. COTS
4. 4/20 Accusim Update

I still don't see the meals no meals button I've seen referenced that is supposed to be above "auto-start" and to the left of "AFK" in the shift+F3 menu.

I'm sure I'm doing something boneheaded and I'm just blind to it, if anyone has any idea what I'm doing wrong please let me know. Are the accusim update packages not cumulative?

First of all, I would like to make sure that you're not flying the "Pregnant Guppy" version of the plane (the cargo hauler). Because that one indeed does not have a Meals button. No passengers, no meal service =) The other B377 planes should have it, and in my installation (I'm also using the Steam Edition of FSX) they all have it.

It could be that if you uninstall them (and remove the files) and then re-install that it works? I can't promise anything, but have you tried this yet?

The Meals button is indeed positioned where you expect it.

Yeah thanks for the info, I'm a bit hesitant to uninstall/reinstall because apart from this button everything seems to be working fine and the 377 seems to be a bit temperamental. If I do I'll check back in and let you know how it went.

Just saw this post and never knew there was supposed to be a "meals" button. My window has a blank space there. I am also hesitant to do a reinstall as everything else is working great. Would like to know if you resolved this or not then I can decide if I want to reinstall.

I'm in FSX Acceleration.

I tried to fix this yesterday.

Used control panel to uninstall COTS and then WOS B377.

Ran all files as administrator.
Reinstalled starting with "1. B377" from B377.zip
During installation asked me if I was on SP2 or Acceleration. I'm on neither (FSX:SE), but there was no other option so I selected Acceleration.
Next, installed file "wos_b377_v2_full" from COTS.zip.
Next, installed file "A2A_Update_06_19_15" - successfully detected COTS and said it updated it.

Fired up FS:FXE loaded default flight with default 172. Then loaded stratocruiser. Still no meals button

Anyone has any ideas please let me know.

So I tried going base b377, sp1.1 update, and then COTS. Still no luck. Based on what was said in the previous forum I feel like maybe I'm missing something I need to install? I've reviewed the installation instructions in this forum and followed them.

I purchased from TheFlightSimStore on 12/26/14, is there any chance I've gotten an old COTs installer (it is dated 7/1/2011) or something? I was under the impression the accusim updates should take care of getting things up to date but maybe I'm wrong.

Thanks...doing the manual delete and re-install worked...I now have the meals button.
