Haven't tried it myself, but I read somewhere that right clicking will center the turn handle too.

Wow, thanks for that advice. I never even thought to try using the mouse wheel, but I just tested it and it works perfectly. Right clicking also centers it instantly. Way better than trying to finesse it by moving the mouse itself. I would go from +20 to -20 and then back and forth again, causing the crew to question my sanity.
Perhaps I should read the manual or something . . .
