Can't install the 377 in FSX-SE

I point to my FSX-SE path but the installer doesn't accept that I get an error message and the installer ends. But my P51 Civ was possible to install by simply pointing to the FSX-SE path according to instructions.

whats the message you are getting?

I didn't have the B377 installed into my Steam version so went ahead and installed it. Following the instructions from the thread all installed just fine, are you sure you are hitting the correct directory?

The message is
'Either FSX was not found or there is a file corruption found in your FSX directory .... '
The directory I have chosen is
H:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX
which is were FSX-SE is installed

For now I'm unable to find such order number. I'm not even sure I bought it direcly from the A2A store.

Found the mail and it was indeed from the A2A store

Yes and when trying to install with the re downloaded file I get exactly the same error message

Very strange.

Is it installing into dummy folders or point blank refusing to install? When you installed the steam version have you changed anything, any customized install procedure for your FSX Steam edition.

The installation program exits after displaying the error message i.e before anything is installed. I followed normal steam procedure for FSX-SE and pointed to intended directory.
btw I also tried installing the Cub and that worked as intended. Only the stratocruiser seem to have a problem.

I seem to have the same problem on the 377 on installing on steam,I have installed two other planes this week both new downloads from A2A on FSX-SE.
The 377 kept getting error message that fsx had corrupt file please reload or contact A2A.

I have fsx on C drive and Steam on E drive.

I then installed the 377 on c drive and no problem, And i do have the correct path to install on steam.

There is one more oddity the 2D panels on both the 377 and P-51 do not wotk on the C drive installation allthough the map appeaars on the 377? and the trasparency is at 0%.
On the p-51 on E drive all 2D Panels can be viewed but on c drive they try to appear when selected.

So i have the 377 and P51 working fine on C drive except for 2D panels except map which is visible on the 377.

I have the skylane and P51 both working fine on E drive with 2d panel in order.

So if i get the 377 onto E Drive on steam and working that is the main problem.

N0 idea looked for the version number downloaded from the store on Feb14. This version again loaded on the Fsx classic this morning but get Fsx error when using the steam path wich was in the directory were the othe a2a planes are on steam..
