Well, did deleting the .dat files work? Don't keep us in suspense!

Hi GxSmith,

The 377log.dat gets rid of your current career log, which you can restore to an earlier date by renaming one of the 377log.bak files. The 377.dat file is the one which tracks the condition of the engines, the hours on each engine. That is the file you want to delete in your instance. Be aware that when you reload the 377, a new 377.dat file will be generated, which will reset your engine hours and aircraft condition to "new".

Hey Guys, I deleted the 377 dat file and rebooted and the same thing. The instant a passenger boards career goes gray. I am at my wits end.

gxsmith,

The following conditions that will automatically turn the career mode off:

- Using SLEW or accelerated time
- If you are not on the ground and change passengers, add fuel, or open the maintenance hangar

Scott.

Me again, I have tried both active runway and gate, engines off and on, reset career, no slew is not on. Really bizarre!

If you have any other add ons running I'd Suggest turning them off and trying. I've not heard of this issue before from anyone so it's bound to be something simple.
