Hello,
I'm having a problem with my joystick not responding of the throttle when using the 377, it's OK with other planes and worked with the 377 before COTS upgrade. I'm using a Saitek X52. Any ideas? Thanks,

Re: Loss of throttle assignment
I know this is going to be a dumb question, but just for the sake of trying to help is the throttle lock on? That is about the only thing I can think of is the new plane may load with the throttle lock engaged. Other than that I am not sure.

Re: Loss of throttle assignment
Hello,
I looked and it is still setup as unlocked upon loading, I tried locking and unlocking the throttles and they moved one time up and back with the throttle stick on the X52, then stopped working again. Really wierd. This is a pain because I can't fly the plane because I can't keep the engines running.

How are your engine assigned? Through FSX setup, 377 config, FSUICP, etc.

thanks for the reply, I'm not sure what you mean, but I have all my control assignments done through FSX. And it worked this way for the last 2 weeks since I purchased this plane. Just since installing the COTS upgrade that this has happpened, do I need to configure another way? Thanks

Re: Loss of throttle assignment
Lets make sure that after you installed COTS nothing else changed check that your "Automixture" in your FSX settings is NOT checked.
Did they pop back or did they slide back? It sounds like there are two axis trying to control your throttles. Double check that nothing else has gotten assigned to anywhere it shouldn't be.

Re: Loss of throttle assignment
Hello again,
I checked all the settings in my controls and everything looks correct. If I try to move the throttles with my mouse they snap, but I don't remember when I was able the use the stick that one time, but it looked smooth enough, thanks again,

Re: Loss of throttle assignment
If your throttle is still assigned and you move your throttles with your mouse then they will jump back to what your X52 throttle is telling your Virtual throttles to do.... boy I said throttle a lot in that sentence.
EDIT: have you restarted your computer after your install?

Hello,
It started working now, I switched from the new livery to an older one and to the B17 and back and it seems to be working now, so I'm going to try a flight, Thanks alot for all your help.

Re: Loss of throttle assignment
If this happens again, check your throttle null zone in the FSX options, and perhaps increase it by a click and see if that solves the isssue.
