Sunday, November 20 - Syria and Lebanon

We start out at Deirzzor Airport and follow the Euphrates (yes, another river) northwest to Lake Assad. Then on to Aleppo and Latakia, across the mountains to Beirut, then west to Damascus to land. Trip length 433 nautical miles.

I just discovered there was a campaign there during WWII, against the Vichy French. The RAF and RAAF even used P-40s!
