Sunday, 15-Aug-21 Mellow Olympic Peninsula Fright

Post by Paughco »

Hi guys. Join me in a mellow flight from a classic small field in Washington to another classic small field in Oregon. Bring whatever you want, but I recommend something easy to fly into small airports. I'll be in my Cessna 182. We'll take off from a small private field right on the Juan de Fuca Strait, Blue Ribbon Strip (WN29), and fly a circuitous route down to Veronia (O5S). Both of those are small, and who knows? Maybe you can operate a Spitfire there. Maybe. Only one problem. We need to stop at the Copalis State strip (S16), and I know you can get into and out of there in a Cub, and in a 182, but I'd not recommend a warbird for this strip.

Here's the SkyVector flight plan: https://skyvector.com/?ll=47.0034831234 ... 335W%2005S .

Aircraft: Cherokee, 172, or T-6.
