March 8th CBI Ops

Post by Tobus75 »

Now listen up, soldiers!

Today the AVG are striking the port of Yichang. Due to not having bombs nor bullets, we will fly under the local bridges and piss of the nips with our exemplary flying skills.
We will do so by taking off from ChonKing, ZUCK, at 0800LT. We go east to pick up on the Yangtze river, following that north and east as low as possible to keep the element of surprise.
Any bridges found up to and including Yiching will be buzzed.

After Yiching we will egress through the valleys, first south and then west. Due to our sim being American and all, you can bet Chinese airports being there true to life will not be available.
That, combined with the fuel expended during our shananigans, leaves us in a bit of a pickle. Luckily, our friends in the Chinese underground have constructed a temporary airstrip at Enshi , just west of the town, to land.
You can find a recon pic of that below.

Note that this is a rough plan. You will be prepared to follow the Yangtze River low and fast.

We will be flying our superior P-40's on this mission. As it stands this will be a joined operation though, so you may expect some of our British friends in their Spitfires on your wing.
Other details are JoinFS, Digital Themepark ; 1900z warmup, 1915z wheels up, weather historical for 0800LT.

That is all, dismissed!
