NOV 3 MP Flight. London to Paris

Post by ianfisher 101 »

For this weeks flight we are back in the A2A Constellation flying from London Heathrow to Paris Charles-De-Gaulle.
We are flying 1946 aircraft in original configuration so that means NO GPS . We will be navigating using VOR's.

Here is the route
EGLL 27L
ABB 108.45
CRL 109.20
LFPG 27L

Meet at 1830z at Heathrow Terminal 2A for a 1900z departure. Parking 251-258. If the winds are from the West we'll be flying the Mayfield 2G departure.
Cruise is FL170. Again if the winds are from the west we'll be flying the ILS for 27L at Paris. 110.7 265 degrees. The IAF starts at D13.9 at 5000'. We'll be parking at terminal 1 S7-19.

For the return It's the Opal 3A departure from 27L, then to ABB, and BIG before the Biggin 4B arrival for the ils into 27L. Parking back at 251-258.
This is all depending on the winds on the day. We may need to alter runways and departure/arrivals to suit.

Usual Server on joinfs and Discord for comms.
Real Weather
Set local time 1600. We will fly out in daylight and return at dusk for nice lighting over London.

Used in planning this.
P3D v 4.5 HF2
A2A Connie
ORBX, Base, Open LC, Vector, FTX England, True Earth GB South
UK2000 EGLL
Taxi2Gate LFPG
Navigraph Airac 1911
Active Sky
REX SF and EF

The flight is quite short with a planned time of 1 hour and 19 mins so although when we land that is the end of the official part of the MP flight I intend to fly back to Heathrow.
I realise this will take us over the usual 2 hour flight time but for those that want to fly back your more than welcome to join me. I think I've covered everything but do reach out if you have queries.

BTW A2A have just issued an update for the Connie so do go get that before we fly.
