fscloud is a bit more like the old fshost where as vatsim is a 'realistic' MP. So with vatsim you register and use ATC and follow them and flight rules etc. Fscloud is just a multiplayer client so you can have atc but its rare and more just an ability to fly with others.

thanks,
Lewis

Does FSCloud properly communicate positions, gear, flaps, door/canopy position, etc? I've been using the Steam multiplayer server for formation flying and with good pings we get accurate tracking and can fly close form. I'm new here and see you guys seem to run FSCloud so was wondering how it compares.

Thanks for insight...

Hello,

no FSX steam native is great for formation and what not. But FScloud allows FSX Disc, steam, P3D and X-plane to all fly together. Last night for example we had P3D, FSX Steam and FSX disc flyers.

thanks,
Lewis

Ah! Thanks Lewis! So it sounds a lot like FSHost in that respect.
