Okay thanks. Seems it's the Courier system font which is the culprit here. This is the monospaced one, and in "C:\Windows\Fonts" it's titled "Courier Regular". Does yours look exactly the same as this if you open it from that directory?

Hi, I looked into the folder, but I cannot find a file called "Courier regular". I only have "Courier", "Courier New", "Courier-Normal". So is it the problem?

Yes, seems this might be the case, though it's a mystery as to what software would have removed this system font.

Hi, I downloaded and I installed it. It's a mistery why my pc adviced me if I want to rewrite it or not (as already installed!). And also why on my system it appears different from your posted image, as the characthers appear as the screenshot below:

Hi, I looked once again into Manager.xml.

At "Spitfire Mk 1a" window's title.. the following lane indicate the value of 8:
<FontFace>COURIER</FontFace>
<FontHeight>8</FontHeight>

I changed to 15 as "Courier New" entries, and it seems ok now. It's wierd as this file is original, I mean, never modified (11/28/2011)

Yes, this is a very puzzling one for sure. It looks to me a little like some external software may have modified your Windows registry or something to change the way that system fonts are invoked/displayed, but I have to admit that I'm not an expert in this area.

The correct font height for "Courier" in Manager.xml is indeed 8, but if increasing it to 15 offsets whatever has changed on your system, then I guess that's as good as we can hope for without resorting to drastic measures.

Hi Nick thanks for all your assistance, I changed 8 to 15 in manager.xml, and 5 to 15 in engine_detail.xml.
It's better now, even if is not so much perfect in Manager's rectangles.
