The A2A Simulations Community

Hey guys,

because of the memorable Corona pandemic I can't fly her for at least ten days or so. So I wanted to ask you if there is - besides the cool down of the temps - anything else simulated while the sim/PC is off? Maybe corrosion or degradation in the broadest sense (like with the GA planes)?

Hi Zacke.
As far as i am aware only the GA and captain of the ship aircraft degrade when PC is turned off , the mil aircraft will show ware and tare during usage.

Thanks! Yes, that's what I supposed, too.

But: I don't think the "ships" (COTS) simulate degradation while sim's off. I would love it if there would generally be a more complex engine simulation with COTS. I can't remember but I think the Connie simulates at least temperature cool down while sim's off.

Correct Zacke, no wear when not in use for the Spitfire.
