I just loaded Prepar3d v4.329.25520 and did a fresh download of the Spit from the A2A store and installed that file. All installations went to the default locations recommended in the executable files.
When I open the Aircraft Configurator, I get a message that says:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
"Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.DirecX.DirectInput.Version=1.0.2902.0.Culture=Neutral.PublicKey Token=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified ."
I've hit "Continue" in the past but the system does not call on/recognize my input configuration for the Spit.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: "Unhandled Exception"
I just installed the Cessna 182 and ran its Input Configurator with no problems. When I switched over to the Spit Configurator the problem there seemed to be fixed as well. Could there be a problem with the DirectX package in the Spit installer? Just asking and updating.

Re: "Unhandled Exception"
Did you restart after installation?
Its good practice to always restart, i'd wager the Microsoft DX9 installation needed a kick up the butt, a restart helps this but if you didnt and just went to the next installer in this case 182 that prolly gave it the kick it needed to register correctly.
thanks,
Lewis

Re: "Unhandled Exception"
Thanks Lewis. I try to restart after each install but may have forgotten. At any rate it seems to be working now (I had a great flight in the Spit yesterday). Now on to loading the ORBX scenery.
