Intgrating Google earth with FSX

Post by AshtonPete »

Does anyone know how this is done?

I'd love to fly over my place in the Spitfire to impress the neighbours. :)

Here is a utube vid.

May i suggest this http://sourceforge.net/projects/tileproxy/ Once down loaded and set up it covers the whole planet and its free, The map i use is Virtual earth there others in the set up as you will see. This may be helpful for you aswell http://www.edtruthan.com/tileproxy/tutorial/

I had someone else set it up for me via teamviewer but it works a treat even streaming on twitch, its just a matter of getting the settings correct for your system in the "ProxyUser.ini" file

Cheers I will right now..

I downloaded one called FS Earth with a free 5 minute crack at it at Anchorage.

I loaded it into my steamapps/Common/FSX folder and was able to view the extra pulldown at top of screen. But I am flummoxed, there are no instructions as to how its set up, so its head scrattin time.
