Its a short loading delay from the sounds of it for you. Shouldn't affect anything for you though.

For me, it was the mesh resolution being set too high. Try lowering it a step at a time to see if this fixes the issue. I have had this phenomenon on both FSX and P3DV2.2 and was fixed with setting the mesh at 10 meters. It may well be an airport specific issue.
Worth a try as you can always set your mesh resolution back to where you had it if this makes no difference in your setup.
