Spitfire Crashes my FSX

Hi Can somr one help with this problem
I have re enstalled FSX with 1and2 updates on default C drive
When i instal my Spit it shows up in fsx it loads and I can press /click All buttons/swiches but as soom as I try to stat or go to Maintanace Bay it Ceashes the sim with a fatal error
I have upto date DireceX installed
I have tried to inbtall the patch for the Spit but a box appears saying it can't find FSX yet the file is in my fsx folder in C/programe files (86)
Can any one help

Hello Mike,

it sounds like your Direct X 9c is not updated. Have you updated your direct X or direct X9c? Updating your general direct X unfortunatly in many cases will also not correctly update your version 9c to the latest.

Hi Lewis
Yes I have updated direct x I have reinstalled FSX down loaded The Spit downloaded Accufeel + v2 This crashed FSX sraight away with a fatal error removed them FSX OK Loaded up the Spit That crashed FSX with a fatal error
I have all service packs installed
My email add is [email protected] this is for the Accusim for the spit so that you can update the expirty date

Hello Mike,

download active for you on the store.

Also don't forget to delete any spit folders from your my documents (.dat file and such)

the accu-sim package is all active on the store. Can you please give me the order number for the spitfire itself as I'm not finding it using the email address provided.

Hi Lewis I purchased the Spit from Fightsim stores order #Order Number: 115012 I have downloaded Accusim now All I need is to stop a2a from crashing fsx It is finding my fsx folder and evry thing shows up in free flight the aircraft goes to my air field when i press start it crashes fsx with a fatal error
The only thing Iv'e changed is to add a new power source

Hello Mike,

lets start with the simple stuff to get this one solved.

-Try deleting your .dat file mike in your my document folders. This will let a new one be generated.

-Also when you reinstalled did you right click and select 'run as admin'

-The Patch you mention, are you sure its for the correct version of the Spitfire. The Accu-sim core patch for the Accu-sim Spitfire is here;

Thanks I have it sorted now I formatted my disc D:/ Reinstalled fsx Installed a2a Spit+Acusim no probs I seemed that they were installing to the Root drive of D:/ for some unkown reason
Now All I need to find is where I bought a2a Cub from and I will be happy chappie the shop that I had the Cub from had a pale green square installer but I can not for the life of me remember who they were any ideas I know where the acusim for the cub is and Acufeel1/v2 are still not to worry
